Types of data processed

We process the following data:

Data you provide to us. If you choose to send messages to the Data Controller's contact addresses, or to fill in and submit the forms available on the Data Controller's website, this is optional, explicit and voluntary, and it involves the acquisition of your contact details — necessary in order to reply — as well as of all personal data included in your communications.

Browsing data. The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, in the course of their normal operation, both personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols, and personal data collected on the basis of your explicit consent.

Data collected through cookies while you browse the site. With your consent, and in compliance with applicable law, this data may be used for profiling and personalisation purposes. Purposes of the processing

Legal basis for the processing

Personal data is processed by the Data Controller where one or more of the following conditions applies (Article 6 GDPR):

  • the data subject has given consent pursuant to Article 6(1) GDPR;
  • legitimate interest;
  • processing of data useful for the prevention and suppression of fraud and of any unlawful activity;
  • compliance with obligations laid down by law, by regulation, by EU legislation or by an order of a public authority (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Providing your data for the purposes of supplying the services and information you request is necessary and therefore mandatory. Providing your data for the other purposes — and therefore consenting to its collection and processing — is optional. You may refuse consent, and you may withdraw consent already given at any time.

How the data is processed

The personal data collected is processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency set out in Article 5 GDPR, including by means of IT and electronic tools used to store and manage the data, and in any event in such a way as to ensure its security and to protect the data subject's confidentiality to the fullest extent.

Categories of persons authorised to process the data and to whom the data may be disclosed

The data will be processed by the Data Controller's employees and collaborators in their capacity as persons in charge of processing and/or authorised persons and/or system administrators, and by public security authorities or other public bodies for the purposes of defence, State security and the investigation of criminal offences. An up-to-date list of external recipients is held by the Data Controller.

The data will not be disseminated, except in order to comply with obligations laid down by law.

The data may be transferred to third countries recognised as adequate by the European Commission (Article 45 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

Retention periods

The Data Controller will process the data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes set out above:

  • Contact and information requests: up to 6 months from the last contact;
  • Contractual relationship: for the entire duration of the relationship and for up to 10 years after it ends;
  • Data processed on the basis of legitimate interest: until the user objects;
  • Marketing: no longer than 2 years from collection;
  • Newsletter: no longer than 1 year from subscription;
  • Cookies: as set out in the extended cookie policy.

Rights of the data subject

As a data subject, you have the right to obtain from the Data Controller access to your personal data, the rectification or erasure of that data, the restriction of processing, or to object to processing (Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation). Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data breaches the Regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (Article 77 of the Regulation), or to bring proceedings before the competent courts (Article 79 of the Regulation).
